A mobile-friendly AppSheet system designed to help a small business create invoices, manage line items, and track tax-related sales data.
This project focused on building a practical invoicing system for a small business that needed a cleaner way to handle customers, products, invoice line items, and tax tracking. The goal was not to create an overly complicated accounting platform. The goal was to give the owner a simple system that worked better than manual tracking.
The app was designed around real business use: quick invoice entry, organized product selection, tax-exempt handling, and structured data that could support future reporting.
Suggested image placement: add screenshots of the invoice form, line item workflow, product selection screen, and tax report view here.
The business needed a better way to create invoices and track tax-related totals. Manual systems can work for a while, but they become messy when products, customers, tax-exempt sales, and invoice details start piling up.
The biggest issues were:
I designed an AppSheet app connected to structured Google Sheets tables. The system separated invoices, invoice line items, customers, products, and tax data so the app could work more like a real business tool instead of one giant spreadsheet. The app was planned so a non-technical owner could use it without needing to understand the backend structure.
The app gives the business a cleaner way to create invoices and keep tax-related information organized. It reduces the need to manually piece together totals later and creates a more reliable structure for tracking sales, tax-exempt sales, and taxes collected.

I can help turn messy spreadsheets and repeat tasks into a cleaner workflow without forcing your business into bulky software.
